There are still places available for the 2019 National Weekend based in Norwich from 20th to 22nd September. Below is the detailed itinerary for the weekend.
FRIDAY 20th September
12 noon onwards meet up at The COACH & HORSES (82 Thorpe Road, NR1 1BA)(GBG).
We have arranged brewery tours at their CHALK HILL in-house brewery during the afternoon, groups of 10 or 12 max. lasting circa half an hour. In between these a meet & greet welcome SPBW members, hot & cold buffet will be served at the pub. Each member will be handed their ‘Welcome to Norwich’ pack which includes the itinerary, maps & bus timetables. Late arrivals can catch up and join us at;

SATURDAY 21st September
10am meet up at Norwich Train Station for 10.36am train to GREAT YARMOUTH. Train arrives at 11.09am, we walk to the seafront to catch a number 3 bus to take us to a 12 noon start at The LACONS brewery for a guided tour (Head Brewer hopes to have a LACONS Beer From The Wood to mark the occasion).
LACONS trip, either the more energetic could walk to some of GREAT YARMOUTH’S pubs in the south of the town which includes The RED HERRING (GBG) or a short bus ride to The BARKING SMACK (GRAIN brewery owned pub on the seafront). From here head inland towards the train station, look out for The TROLL CART (Wetherspoons), The MARINERS (GBG), The KING’S ARMS (GBG), The ST. JOHN’S HEAD and The TOMBSTONE SALOON (GBG Brewpub).
Train back to NORWICH in the evening for a choice of pubs in and around the city centre.
SUNDAY 22nd September
12 noon REDWELL brewery (7 The Arches, Bracondale, NR1 2EF) (Craft brewery & tap bar)

2pm The ROSE (GBG) (Pub doesn’t open until 2pm!)
