Our ‘walk’ on Wednesday 18th June at 7pm features just one pub:
The Express Tavern, 56 Kew Bridge Road, Brentford, TW8 0EW.
It was originally a coaching Inn stop from London to Bath. The building is thought to
date from the 1860, and the pub has been a local landmark for more than 200 years.
There are 10 real ale handpumps and up to 5 ciders/perries on handpump. Bass and
Harvey’s Sussex Best always on, and a wide range of other beers. Seen recently
were Big Smoke Solaris, Deja Hokum English Porter, Exeter Ferryman, Fraid Knot &
MC6, Dorking Stanza XPA, Stardust English Bitter, Kew Bridge Best Bitter, Five
Points Railway Porter.
Food is served all day, and there is a large beer garden. Cash & card taken.

Nearest Tube station is Kew Gardens (c 10 minutes across Kew Bridge)
Buses running outside include 110, 237, 267, route 65 runs close by.
