Here are the preliminary details about the national weekend scheduled for 23-25th September.
It will be based around the Lewes (East Sussex) area. Although accommodation seems to be quite limited in Lewes itself, Eastbourne & Brighton are very accessible and not too far away.
On Friday visit the Bluebell Railway Beer Festival. There are also 3 further additional venues that are under consideration for a visit: ‘360 Degrees Brewery’ at Sheffield Park, ‘Heathen Brewery Tap’ in Haywards Heath and ‘The Hairy Dog Brewers’ in Wivelsfield.
On Saturday a tour of pubs in Lewes and a visit to the ‘Beak’ brewery & Tap’ in Lewes.
On Sunday travel to Eastbourne and visit various watering holes. We are looking at the possibility of visiting the ‘Long Man’ brewery. If this is possible we may switch the Sunday arrangements to Saturday and do Lewes on the Sunday.
If you are planning to attend please contact Emma Bamborough (National Events Co-Ordinator) at ‘pintfromthewood@gmail.com’ and let her know.
